Arduino Uno R3 SMD is a clone of the most recent version of the Arduino Uno, which includes a CH340 USB-to-Serial converter chip on the motherboard. Despite the fact that there are some minor differences between this version and the original, it is nearly identical in terms of usage and software. If you want to get started with Arduino boards at a lower cost, this is an excellent option.
There is no difference between this board’s microcontroller model and the original board’s microcontroller (Atmega328). The only difference between microcontrollers is the package in which they are housed. A DIP package microcontroller is used in the original device; an SMD package microcontroller is used in the clone device.
This can be programmed through the use of a USB Type B cable. You have the option of powering this Board via USB or through the barrel jack on the back. The on-board power regulator is capable of handling voltages ranging from 7 to 15 Vdc.
